Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Interface Manager with 5–7 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Process Engineering environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating onsite and offshore engineering teams, managing technical interfaces, supporting brownfield/tie-in activities, and coordinating with clients and site teams.
The candidate should have a solid technical background in process and piping engineering, along with hands-on experience with P&IDs, H&MB, 3D piping, HAZOP, RFIs, and applicable ASME codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day onsite/offshore engineering coordination and interfaces.
- Coordinate between process, piping, construction, engineering, procurement, and offshore teams.
- Review and coordinate P&IDs, H&MBs, piping layouts, and 3D piping models.
- Support engineering activities related to brownfield modifications, tie-ins, and site changes.
- Coordinate technical queries, RFIs, design clarifications, and field engineering issues.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and site personnel to resolve interface issues.
- Participate in and support HAZOP and technical review activities.
- Identify interface gaps, engineering conflicts, and potential site execution issues.
- Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.
- Ensure engineering deliverables align with project requirements, applicable standards, and ASME codes.
- Track interface actions and ensure timely closure of technical issues.
- Support site walks, field verification, and engineering change activities.
- Communicate project status, technical concerns, and interface risks to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC, or Process Engineering environments.
- Strong experience with onsite/offshore coordination and interface management.
- Hands-on knowledge of Process and Piping Engineering.
- Strong understanding of P&IDs and H&MBs.
- Experience working with 3D piping/modeling environments.
- Experience with HAZOP and technical safety reviews.
- Experience with brownfield projects and tie-in activities.
- Strong RFI, client coordination, and field/site support experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant ASME codes and engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- EPC project experience.
- Experience working directly with clients and site/construction teams.
- Experience supporting engineering during construction and commissioning.
- Experience managing multiple technical interfaces in a fast-paced project environment.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Salary: $90K–$110K annually
Employment: Full-Time
