Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MBD Controls Engineer with a strong background in control algorithm development, Model-Based Design, verification, validation, and thermal simulation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, model-based testing, and control algorithm implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Ensure control algorithms meet system specifications and performance requirements.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests for control algorithm verification.
  • Perform model-based verification and validation using MATLAB, Simulink, and FMI Toolbox.
  • Support laboratory testing by analyzing test results and identifying control-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot control-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and functionality through control algorithm enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and testing teams throughout the development and validation lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in control algorithm implementation, verification, sustaining, and thermal simulation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD).
  • Experience with model-based verification and validation.
  • Familiarity with FMI Toolbox.
  • Experience with control system testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
