Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive IT/ERP project management experience and strong hands-on project delivery experience with PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations.

The ideal candidate will lead large-scale PeopleSoft modernization initiatives, manage cross-functional technical teams and vendors, and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft PUM and PeopleTools upgrade projects.
  • Manage PeopleSoft migration from on-premises environments to OCI.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
  • Manage scope, risks, issues, changes, resources, and overall project delivery.
  • Coordinate PeopleSoft teams across HCM, FSCM, ELM, Pensions, and related modules.
  • Oversee testing, customization retrofit, defect management, cutover, go-live, and production stabilization.
  • Coordinate infrastructure, database, networking, security, cloud, and application teams during OCI migration.
  • Manage Oracle Consulting, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
  • Track vendor deliverables, milestones, resources, contractual commitments, and quality.
  • Lead steering committee meetings and provide executive-level status reporting.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, vendor invoices, and financial controls.
  • Ensure disaster recovery, security, business continuity, and operational readiness requirements are addressed.
  • Drive Agile/Hybrid project delivery and maintain strong project governance.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of IT/ERP Project Management experience.
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft project delivery experience.
  • Proven experience managing PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades.
  • Proven experience leading PeopleSoft OCI migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database, WebLogic, Integration Broker, and PeopleSoft environments.
  • Experience managing large enterprise projects with $5M+ budgets.
  • Strong executive stakeholder, vendor, and steering committee management experience.
  • Strong risk, budget, resource, dependency, and change management experience.
  • Strong Agile/Hybrid project management experience.
  • Must be available to work onsite in NYC 5 days/week.
  • USC or GC only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • OCI certification.
  • Agile/Scrum certification.
  • PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, ELM, or Pensions experience.
  • Cloud security, disaster recovery, and high-availability experience.
  • Oracle Consulting or major system integrator experience.
  • Public sector, transportation, higher education, healthcare, or large enterprise experience.
