Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Engineer to support engineering operations involving supplier information requests, corrective actions, engineering drawing updates, and change management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and hands-on experience working with engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and cross-functional engineering teams.

This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and leadership to review technical issues, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure engineering drawings are accurately updated based on customer requirements and approved changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, track, and coordinate Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) through resolution.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Lead and participate in corrective action reviews with engineering leadership.
  • Review engineering drawings and identify required updates based on customer specifications.
  • Perform drawing redlines to document required engineering changes.
  • Manage engineering drawing revisions through the appropriate change process.
  • Review and track Change Requests (CRs) related to engineering drawings and product changes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, suppliers, customers, and other internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure changes are properly captured.
  • Support engineering change management activities and follow established processes for drawing revisions.
  • Ensure technical changes are clearly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant engineering experience; candidates with significantly more experience may not be suitable for this position.
  • US Citizen.
  • Hands-on experience with engineering drawings and drawing revisions.
  • Experience with drawing redlines and documenting engineering changes.
  • Experience handling Change Requests (CRs).
  • Experience with corrective actions and technical issue resolution.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering, or other engineering environments involving controlled engineering drawings and change management may be a strong fit.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will have 3–4 years of engineering experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, US Citizenship, and direct hands-on experience with SRIs, CRs, corrective actions, engineering drawings, redlines, and drawing revisions.
