Seat Design Release Engineer (DRE) – Irvine, CA

We are seeking a Seat Design Release Engineer with strong experience in automotive seating system design and product release. The role will support seating components from concept through production.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in automotive seating design and release engineering
• Hands-on experience as a Design Release Engineer (DRE)
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V6
• Experience with automotive seating systems and component development
• Knowledge of plastic and metal manufacturing processes and tooling
• Experience with feasibility studies, packaging analysis, and design optimization
• Experience supporting prototype builds and production launches is preferred
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
