Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer – MuleSoft to design, develop, and lead enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-led connectivity, system integrations, application architecture, and technical leadership.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of MuleSoft integration solutions.
Architect and implement API-led connectivity using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs, integrations, and microservices.
Design integrations between cloud and on-premises applications, databases, and third-party systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to MuleSoft developers and integration teams.
Define integration standards, development best practices, and governance frameworks.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and production issues.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and production support of MuleSoft applications.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery activities.
Mentor junior developers and integration engineers.
Drive technical discussions, solution design reviews, and architecture decisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage technical risks, dependencies, and escalations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including:
API Manager
Runtime Manager
Exchange
CloudHub
Strong experience with API design, development, and management using REST and SOAP.
Proficiency in:
DataWeave
Mule Flows
MuleSoft Connectors
Integration Patterns
Strong knowledge of:
Java
XML
JSON
RAML
API security standards
Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Maven, and DevOps practices.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with enterprise architecture and integration governance.
Experience driving integration standards and technical best practices.
Domain Experience – Nice to Have
Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
